Pistachio nuts contain less calories and fat compared to other nuts.
Pistachio also decreases the cholesterol levels in the body. Fiber is another health effect of pistachio. Eating 30 grams of pistachio which contains about 3 grams of fiber as part of the daily diet may improve the function of the digestive system.
Pistachios contain high amounts of copper which help intake more iron from the daily diet thereby compensating for anemia and increasing the number of hemoglobin in the blood and the oxygen supply to body tissues such as the brain and enhancing their function.
The pistachio oil (saturated fat) is used to treat dry skin as well as for traditional massage.
There is a type of protein in pistachio which surrounds and neutralizes bad sugar and is highly effective in controlling diabetes.
Pistachio contains vitamins A and E which have anti-inflammatory properties and are effective in reducing inflammation in various parts of the body. Vitamin B in pistachio produces materials necessary for transferring neural oscillations and ultimately contributes to health, protection and enhancement of the neural system and the immune system in the body.
Because of the protein content in pistachio, its overconsumption may lead to weight gain. Furthermore, eating pistachio nut processed with salt might increase blood pressure.
Your body’s reaction to fructans existing in pistachio occurs in the form of constipation, tympanites, and stomachache.
